Wish 4

I wish my dreams would come true now!  I am tired of waiting!  I feel like my dreams are in that place called tomorrow, a tomorrow that never comes.

I am back to that place where I have been many times in my life, sitting outside my bedroom door when I was 8 years old wiggling my nose like Tabitha in Bewitched, hoping my magical powers would instantly clean my room.

But nothing happens!  No magical powers erase the necessary steps of doing.

So I am altering my wish and wishing for the power of patience that will assist me in the doing and calm me in the waiting.

That is why walking is so perfect.  I know when I am walking from one place to another it will take many steps and time to get there.  The route isn't always preplanned.  I have to take a few steps and decide what direction I am going to take, continue on and decide again at the next fork in the road.

I can be patient and I will enjoy the many forks in the road and commit to living out my dreams even if they are slow in the coming.
