Thanks for joining me in this Journey!!!
I am here with you walking with you in this transition in your life. You may not feel like we are walking on solid ground at times and there may be moments that it feels like this bridge between your old life and your new life will never end. I’m here to give you hope that this time is just a bridge, a transition and a shift.
Your new life won’t be the same as your old life. This may sound a bit scary right now but I can assure you that you will love your new life as much or even more than your old life.
What you have just received for an e-book is my first draft. I have started with my first writings for a few reasons:
1. It is scary to show the world something that isn’t perfect. Too often we wait and wait until something is perfect before presenting our creations. This slows down our flow removing the possibility of more adventures or even worse we never get our creations to a point where we share. Our creations stay in a drawer or a cupboard or on an old floppy disc never seeing the light of day.
2. I will be posting a video of my edited draft as I cross the country. I want you join me by following me on my adventure. We will be walking side by side virtually. We are in this together
3. I want you to see the difference between an edited version and my first draft. When we get a support structure around us with skilled people to support our journeys there is a quickening and professionalism that is much harder to achieve as an individual.
I so appreciate you going on this trip across Canada with me!! When this journey comes to an end you will also receive the fully edited version for free.
I invite you to walk with me from a far. Use my stories to trigger the stories and memories you have within you. Feel free to share your walks with me personally or when you are on social media put the hashtag #thewalkingway to share the moments inspired by my book.
Keep the stories and memories you write and accumulate them into a book like I have done or save them to share with others that would appreciate them.
You may need a support structure around you for the feelings your writing may trigger. Friends, support groups and councilors are all avenues you may consider.
